Helios provided general contracting services for the construction of a relocated coffee shop located in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. This LEED Silver build out required extensive MEP coordination and features an eclectic set of finishes to match the bohemian vibe of the neighborhood along with the Filter brand. During the build out, Helios was able to extend its sustainable approach by using on-the-fly decisions to incorporate recycled and eco-friendly materials into the design and décor. Helios provided numerous value engineering recommendations for the MEP systems and finishes to meet the client’s budget while preserving the original design intent.
